₹2,286 Crore Property Tax Pending: BMC Corporators Ne MMRDA Aur MHADA Ki Property Seize Aur Auction Ki Demand Ki
Mumbai me BMC corporators ne MMRDA aur MHADA par ₹2,286 crore property tax dues ko lekar strong action ki demand ki hai. Corporators ne kaha ki agar aam log tax nahi bharte to unki property seize hoti hai, to government agencies par bhi same action hona chahiye.
Aisa bataya jaa raha hai MMRDA par ₹1,685 crore aur MHADA par ₹601 crore property tax pending hai, jo kai saalon se unpaid hai. BMC ne recovery letters bheje lekin abhi tak koi proper response nahi mila.
Corporator Raja Rehbar Khan ne civic house me sawal uthaya ki kya BMC in agencies ki property seize ya auction karegi jaise normal tax defaulters ke case me hota hai. Is demand ko Shiv Sena aur opposition corporators ne bhi support kiya aur kaha ki tax rules sabke liye same hone chahiye.
