Jogeshwari East ke Thakur Road, Majaswadi area mein 8 October 2025 ko ek dil dukhane wala haadsa hua. 22 saal ki Sanskruti Amin apne ghar se office ja rahi thi, tabhi 21st floor se ek bada cement block neeche gira aur uske sir par lag gaya. Zakhm itne gehre the ki Sanskruti ki spot par hi maut ho gayi. Yeh incident Shraddha Lifestyle LLP ke redevelopment project Shivkunj Building ke paas hua tha.

Local logon ke mutabiq, is site par pichle chhe mahino se safety issues chal rahe the, aur roz ke roz chhote-mote accidents ho rahe the, lekin company ne koi sudhar nahi kiya. Victim ke pita ne Meghwadi Police Station mein complaint di, jiske baad 11 October ko police ne FIR darj ki. FIR BNS ke Section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder) aur Section 3(5) (common intention) ke tehat likhi gayi.
Police ne investigation ke dauraan site engineer Shambhu Kumar Palat Paswan (29) aur site manager Gaurav Dineshbhai Sondagar (39) ko arrest kar liya. Dono par safety negligence aur laaparwahi ke aarop lage hain. Filhal police poori ghatna ki jaanch kar rahi hai, aur redevelopment site ke safety norms par bhi sawal uth rahe hain.
