Rozana pooja-paath, sugandh aur machhar bhagane ke liye use hone wali scented incense sticks ko lekar ek chaukane wala khulasa hua hai. Santacruz ke ek manufacturer ki agarbattiyon mein hanikarak chemicals paaye gaye hain, jiske baad police ne company ke directors ke khilaaf FIR register kar li hai.
Santacruz Police ke mutabik, M/s Dhoop Chhav Company ke khilaaf yeh action Agriculture Department ki jaanch ke baad liya gaya.
Police ne bataya ki incense sticks banane mein use hone wale chemicals ki matra strictly regulated hoti hai. Agar yeh chemicals zyada matra mein use kiye jaayen, toh health par serious asar pad sakta hai.
Inspection ke dauraan officials ne “Comfort” brand ke 29 boxes seize kiye, jisme Camphor aur Lemongrass flavoured incense sticks maujood thi. Turant hi in products ki sale par rok laga di gayi aur samples laboratory testing ke liye bheje gaye.
