Ajay Devgn, Suriya receive top honours; Asha Parekh honoured with Dadasaheb Phalke Award

The National Film Awards ceremony was held in New Delhi on September 30. The winners were announced in July 2022 and President Droupadi Murmu presented the awards on Friday.

The Dadasaheb Phalke Award for 2020 was given to veteran actress Asha Parekh for her exemplary contribution to Indian Cinema.

Ajay Devgn and Suriya received the Best Actor award for the films Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Soorarai Pottru, respectively.
