City ka Air Quality Index (AQI) lagataar kharab hota ja raha hai, aur isi ko dekhte hue BMC ne total 53 construction sites ko stop-work notices issue kiye. Civic body ka kehna hai ki yeh sites dust aur pollution badhane mein major role play kar rahi thi.
BMC Ka kehna hai Har construction site ko 24×7 chalte hue AQI sensors lagane honge.
Additional Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Joshi ne warning di:
“Agar sensor non-operational mila, toh kadam uthaya jayega.”

Total 53 sites:
17 – Siddharth Nagar (G-South)
5 – Mazgaon (E ward)
31 – Malad West (P-North)
Milind Deora ne BMC ko letter likh kar bola ki pollution emergency jaisi situation ban rahi hai.
Aaditya Thackeray ne BJP sarkar par nishana sadhte hue kaha ki builders ko priority di ja rahi hai, pollution ko nahi.
