Bombay High Court ne 24 July 2025 ko TMC ko order diya ki woh illegal buildings ko water supply ki jaanch kare, kyunki Thane mein water crisis ke dauraan yeh practice public nuisance ka kaaran banta hai.
court ne TMC ke water department se kaha ki woh verify karein ki kya unauthorized structures, jinmein proper documentation nahi hai, ko water supply di ja rahi hai
Yeh order 21 illegal buildings ke case se juda hai, jo Thane ke Mumbra (AVK Compound )area mein hain.
Court ne electricity providers ko bhi strict document verification ke baad hi connections dene ka directive diya
