Ek special PMLA court ne Nawab Malik ke parivaar ki company – Malik Infrastructure (aur uske saath Solidus Investments Pvt Ltd) ka discharge plea reject kar diya hai. Court ne kaha hai ki kaafi material (saboot) record me hai, jiske basis par charges framed honge.
Malik aur uski firms par allegation hai ki they ne Haseena Parkar (jiski link Dawood Ibrahim se hai) aur uske network ke saath milkar Kurla ke Goawala Compound property ko illegally transfer kiya.
Court ne kaha hai: “Rent jo Solidus Investments aur Malik Infrastructure ne collect kiye, woh ‘proceeds of crime’ hain.”
Plea kiya gaya tha ki firm pe charge na lagaye kyunki unka kehna tha ki firm us samay maujood nahi thi jab illegal deal hui thi. Lekin court ne kaha ki firm aur Malik family ke under in firms ka control tha — isliye independent nahi maana ja sakta.
Court ne orders diye ki next hearing me formal charges framed honge aur accused ko court me hazir hona padega.
