Communist Party of India (CPI) ko Bombay High Court ne Mumbai ke Azad Maidan mein Gaza mein ongoing conflict ke khilaf peaceful protest karne ki permission de di hai
Yeh faisla Justices Ravindra Ghuge aur Gautam Ankhad ki division bench ne liya, jab Mumbai Police ne court mein confirm kiya ki protest designated site par ho sakta hai.
CPI(M) ne apni petition mein June 19, July 15, aur July 31 ko police ke denials ko challenge kiya tha, jinhone law and order aur India ke foreign policy ke grounds par permission nahi di thi.
Party ne in refusals ko arbitrary aur unjust kaha, yeh argue karte hue ki protest Gaza ke humanitarian crisis aur ceasefire ke international movement ka hissa hai
court ne August 20, 2025 ko 3 PM se 6 PM tak peaceful protest ki permission de di. CPI(M) ne court ko bharosa diya ki koi bhi law and order issue nahi hoga
