The farmers agreed to call off their strike after meeting
Maharashtra CM Fadnavis agreed to 70% of their demands and assured that loans of small land-owning farmers will be waived off by Oct 31.
Government milk ke daam bhadhane ke liye 20th June 2017 tak faisla karegi.
The farmers pressed the state government for a complete waiver of farm loans, free electricity, appropriate remunerative prices for their produce, grants for irrigation, pension for farmers who are 60 years and above, and implementation of the MS Swaminathan Committee recommendations.
