22 September 2025 ko London ke Hammersmith mein Palestinian flag embassy ke bahar lahraya gaya, jab UK ne Palestine ko ek independent state ke roop mein formally recognize kiya. Ceremony mein MPs, diplomats aur public figures shamil the, aur Palestinian Ambassador Husam Zomlot ne is recognition ko “long-overdue act of justice” kaha. Minister Hamish Falconer ke two-state solution promote karne wale speech par mixed reactions aaye, jisse debate bhi shuru hui. UK ka ye step 150+ countries jaise Canada aur Australia ke saath align karta hai, aur Prime Minister Keir Starmer ne kaha ki ye recognition peaceful two-state solution ko possible banaye rakhne ke liye hai.
