Shiv Sena MP Milind Deora ne Maharashtra ke Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ko letter likhkar appeal ki hai ki South Mumbai ke “high-security, high-functioning zones” jaise Azad Maidan mein large-scale protests par ban lagaya jaye ya unhe relocate kiya jaye.

Deora ne kaha, “Koi bhi capital city apne core institutions of governance, security, aur economy ko baar-baar cripple nahi hone deta.” Yeh statement 35,000–45,000 protesters ke wajah se hue traffic jams, BEST bus disruptions, aur CSMT area ke avyavastha ke baad aayi
