Meat Ban Ke Din Jitendra Ahwad Karegey Mutton Party
Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC) ne 15 August 2025 ko Independence Day ke din chicken, mutton, aur doosre meat shops band rakhne ka order jari kiya hai.

Yeh faisla Jain community ke request pe liya gaya, kyunki is din Shravan ka mahina bhi chal raha hai, jisme vegetarianism ko promote kiya jata hai. KDMC ke commissioner ne kaha ki yeh ban public sentiments aur religious harmony ke liye hai, aur isse local meat markets aur slaughterhouses pe asar padega.
Lekin, is order ka NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) ke leader Jitendra Awhad ne zor shor se virodh kiya hai. Unhone kaha ki woh is din apne ghar pe “mutton party” karenge, kyunki yeh ban unke personal rights pe attack hai.
Awhad ne yeh bhi kaha ki desh ke freedom fighters ne azaadi ke liye jung ladi thi, na ki aise restrictions ke liye.
