NCP (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar ne Maharashtra mein ek bade political controversy ko hawa di, jab unhone Minister Sanjay Shirsath par Navi Mumbai mein CIDCO ke 15-acre prime land, jiski market value ₹5,000 crore hai, ko Bivalkar family ke heirs ko improperly allot karne ka aarop lagaya

Pawar ne claim kiya ki yeh zameen, jo garib aur agrarian community ke liye housing projects ke liye reserved thi, 2024 mein Shirsath ke pehle CIDCO chairman meeting mein rules bypass karke di gayi.

Unhone isse “sons of the soil” ke saath betrayal kaha, kyunki local residents years se land rights ke liye struggle kar rahe hain.

Maha Vikas Aghadi ne iske virodh mein 20 August 2025 ko subah 11 baje CIDCO office, Navi Mumbai par protest march ka elaan kiya hai, aur Shirsath ke resignation ki maang ki hai
