Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) ne 24 OTT apps aur websites, jaise Ullu, ALTT, Big Shots, MoodX, Desiflix, Boomex, aur Navarasa Lite, ko obscene aur adult content promote karne ke wajah se ban kar diya hai.
yeh platforms Information Technology Act, 2000 ke Sections 67 aur 67A, Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 ke Section 294, aur Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986 ke Section 4 ka violation kar rahe the
MIB ne Internet Service Providers (ISPs) ko in platforms tak public access disable karne ka order diya hai.
