Mumbai International Cruise Terminal (MICT) par tainat Customs officers ke liye Body-Worn Cameras (BWCs) pehnna ab mandatory kar diya gaya hai. Customs Department ne yeh decision transparency badhane, accountability ensure karne aur investigation process ko majboot banane ke liye liya hai.
Customs officials ke mutabik, BWC ke through record ki gayi proceedings aage chal kar detention, seizure aur Customs Act ya allied laws ke tahat penal action ka base ban sakti hain. Isliye BWC recordings ko critical digital evidence maana jayega.
