Mumbai me ek shocking cyber fraud ka case saamne aaya hai jahan 81 saal ke retired Railway Junior Engineer ko ek online scamster ne ₹26 lakh ka nuksan pahunchaya. Ye sab ek fake “Life Certificate Update” ke bahane hua.

Victim Byculla (Mumbai) me rehte hain aur Northern Railway me Junior Engineer reh chuke hain.

Unhe ek aadmi ka video call aaya, jo khud ko bank ka officer bata raha tha.Usne bola ki unka life certificate reject ho gaya hai, aur pension ruk sakti hai. Fake officer ne life certificate “update karwane” ke liye unke debit card details, expiry date, CVV aur PIN maang li.

Elderly engineer ne pehle doubt me aakar call disconnect kar diya. Lekin unhone caller ko kuch basic details de di thi, jiska fraudster ne misuse kiya.

Call cut karne ke kuch minute baad hi unke phone par bank ke 8 transaction alerts aane lage. Unke different accounts se total ₹26,00,000 (₹26 lakh) withdraw kar liye gaye.

Victim ne turant 1930 Cyber Helpline par call kiya. Uske baad unhone Central Cyber Police Station (Mumbai) me complain register karayi Case IPC section + IT Act ke under register hua hai.
