Andheri me ek aur bada real estate fraud saamne aaya hai, jahan ek realtor aur uske bete ne 18 investors ko total ₹31.26 crore ka nuksaan pahunchaya. Accused ka naam Jaykumar Gupta aur Suyash Gupta hai, jo Ranbir Real Estate and Development LLP ke directors bataye gaye hain.
Scam ka parda tabfash hua jab 71-year-old pharma businessman, Mahesh Doshi, ne complaint file ki. Doshi ne April 2021 se May 2023 ke beech ₹8.26 crore invest kiye the. Guptas ne unhe 18% annual interest aur har 3 mahine interest payment ka promise kiya tha. Pehle kuch saal interest milta raha, par September 2024 ke baad payments bandh ho gayi, aur principal bhi wapas nahi diya. Doshi ko baad me pata chala ki takriban 18 investors ko isi tarah phasaya gaya tha.
Ye case ab Economic Offences Wing (EOW) ko transfer kar diya gaya hai, kyunki scam ka amount ₹10 crore se zyada tha.
