Mumbai–Pune Expressway par pichhle 18 ghante se phanse hazaron commuters ke liye Pune Rural Police ne bada humanitarian kadam uthaya hai. Police ne highway par atke logon ko khana aur paani distribute karna shuru kar diya hai.
Yeh situation Raigad district ke Adoshi Tunnel ke paas ek chemical tanker accident ke baad paida hui, jahan tanker palatne ke baad gas leak shuru ho gaya. Safety reasons ki wajah se Tuesday shaam se Expressway par traffic poori tarah thap ho gaya, jisse Maharashtra ka yeh key corridor almost paralysed ho gaya.
Pune Rural SP Sandeep Singh Gill ke direct guidance mein Lonavala City Police Station ke jawan 50 km tak lambi vehicle lines mein phase logon tak pahunch rahe hain. Viral videos mein police personnel do-wheelers par khade vehicles ke beech jaakar biscuits ke packets aur bottled water baantte hue dikh rahe hain.
