1993 mein hue dange aur attempt-to-murder case me Mumbai ki Sessions Court ne aakhri bache accuse Asif Ali Shaikh ko bhi bari kar diya. Court ne yeh faisla 5 December ko sunaya. Isse pehle is case ke 14 accused ko 2003 se lekar alag-alag judgements me bari kiya ja chuka tha
Asif Ali Shaikh accused number 9 the. Police ke mutabik woh un logon me shamil the jo 1993 ke dango ke dauraan 300–400 logon ki crowd ka hissa the. Is crowd par patthar, soda bottle, jali hui cheezein aur fireballs throw karne ka aarop tha.
Asif saalon tak police ki giraft se bachte rahe, jis wajah se unka case files me pending padha tha. July 2025 me police ne unhe Wadala se arrest kiya tha. Baad me unhe bail bhi mil gayi.
