Zoological Survey of India (ZSI) aur Tejas Thackeray ke Thackeray Wildlife Foundation ne Kolhapur ke Ghat se fresh water Crqbs ke 5 naye prajati ki khoj ki 

Yeh freshwater crab species ke naam 1. Sahyadriana keshari 2. Sahyadriana inopinata 3. Sahyadriana tamhini 4. Ghatiana rouxi aur 5. Ghatiana durrelli rakhe gaye hain 

Iss se pehle Tejas Thackeray ne Mumbai ke Well se fresh water blind EEL Ki khoj ki thi
