Thane Crime Branch ke Anti-Extortion Cell ne kafi time se wanted gangster Ravi Pujari ko arrest kar liya hai. Yeh arrest Kasarvadavali Police Station ke 2017 ke extortion case me ki gayi hai.
Police ke mutabik Ravi Pujari par IPC sections 385, 387, 120B, 34 ke saath MCOCA ke sections ke tahat case registered hai aur yeh matter special MCOCA court me trial ke liye pending tha.
Accused Ravi Prakash Sulya Pujari (57) pehle foreign se apne gang ke through crimes operate kar raha tha, jiske chalte uske khilaf Red Corner Notice bhi issue ki gayi thi. Use 2019 me Senegal me detain kiya gaya tha.
Ab police ne usse Bengaluru jail se production warrant par 17 March 2026 ko custody me liya aur Thane laakar is case me officially arrest kiya.
