Bruhat Bengaluru Hotel Owners Association ke President PC Rao ne kaha ki kai restaurants ko commercial LPG cylinders ki supply nahi mil rahi, jiski wajah se operations chalana mushkil ho raha hai. Unhone government se turant intervention ki demand ki hai.
Aisa bataya jaa raha hai West Asia crisis ke chalte kuch jagahon par commercial LPG supply Monday se rukne ki baat saamne aayi hai. Association ke hisaab se 25–30 hotels Monday morning tak impact ho chuke hain kyunki suppliers ne direct gas supply band kar di.
Association ne Central Government ko letter likh kar kaha hai ki hotel industry ek essential service hai, jahan se aam log, students, senior citizens aur medical professionals daily meals lete hain. Agar gas supply jaldi restore nahi hoti to industry ko bada crisis face karna padega.
