Tawa pulao
Tawa pulao is a very easy and simple recepie. This is a very popular street food. This can be a good alternative to finish off your left over rice. You can try this recepie at home.
Ingredients:-
• 2 tbsp Butter
• 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
• 1 cup Onion finely chopped
• 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
• 1/4 cup Capsicum
• 1/4 cup Carrot diced
• 1/4 cup French Beans
• 1/2 cup Tomato diced
• 1/4 cup Green Peas
• 1 tsp Pav Bhaji Masala
• 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
• Salt to taste
• 2 cups Boiled Rice
Method:-
Heat up butter in a pan.
• Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
• Add finely chopped onion and fry it well for about 3-4 minutes.
• Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
• Add capsicum, carrot, french beans and fry it for about 4-5
minutes.
• Add tomato, green peas and cook everything well for about 3-4
minutes.
• Mash the veggies a little.
• Add half of pav bhaji masala, red chili powder, salt and mix well.
• Add rice, left over masala, red chili powder, salt and mix well.
• Add salt carefully if you have added salt while cooking the rice.
• Fry the rice well on medium heat for about 4-5 minutes mixing
continuously.
• Add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
• Tawa pulao is already.
• You can have tawa pulao as it is or you can serve it with raita too.
