India ka real-time digital payment system, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), ne August 2025 mein ek naya milestone set kiya, jisme 20.01 billion transactions record kiye gaye.
yeh surge festive demand, technology advancements, aur policy changes ke wajah se hua.
India Narrative ke report ke according, early festive season, jaise Ganeshotsav, ne consumer spending ko boost kiya, jisse UPI transactions mein 34% year-on-year aur 3% month-on-month growth hui.
Maharashtra ne 9.8% share ke saath digital payments mein lead kiya, followed by Karnataka (5.5%) aur Uttar Pradesh (5.3%).
