Versova ₹55 Crore Redevelopment Scam: Kolhapur Ka Developer Mumbai Police Ne Arrest Kiya

Mumbai Police ke Economic Offences Wing (EOW) ne ₹55 crore ke Versova redevelopment scam me Kolhapur ke ek developer ko arrest kiya hai.

Arrested accused ka naam Amrut Uttam Mahendrakar (34) hai, jo Kolhapur district ke Ichalkaranji ka rehne wala hai.

accused par aarop hai ki usne dusre logon ke saath milkar Versova, Andheri me ek old building redevelopment project me fraud kiya. Is project me 13 flats wali building ko redevelop karne ka promise diya gaya tha.

Investigation me pata chala ki accused ne society members ki permission ke bina unke flats ko mortgage aur sell kar diya, aur fake agreements aur forged documents ka use karke bank loans bhi liye. Is scam me residents ko lagbhag ₹55 crore ka nuksaan hua.
