2 Drug Peddlers Ko Rs. 3.5 Lakhs ke MD Drugs ke saath arrest kiya ANC ne
The anti-narcotics cell (ANC) of the Mumbai police ne Tuesday ko 2 drug peddlers ko alag alag case me Mephdrone (MD) or Meow Meow, a popular party drug, in commercial quantity rakhne ke jurm me arrest kiya hai.
Accused Sakinaka Resident Shakil Ahmad Vaeesh Mohammad Chaudhari, 39, near Parijat building near Tilak Nagar railway station ke 100 grams of MD worth Rs 2 lakh ke saath Ghatkopar unit ke DCP Shivdeep Lande ne arrest kiya.
ANC Malad ke Resident accused Zaheer Mehmood Khan, 27 for possessing 70 grams of MD worth Rs1.4 lakh near Swagat Park bus stop in Malad (West) se arrest kiya.
In 2015, MD was added to the list of drugs banned under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
