Cutting Chai 18 – A Celebration of Art, Talent, and Culture RD & SH National College, Bandra West, Along with BAMMC Department Students, Curates an Unforgettable Cultural Experience
As the final applause faded and the festival lights dimmed, Cutting Chai 18 left behind a trail of excitement, creativity, and lasting memories. Held on February 6, 7, and 8, 2025, at RD & SH National College, Bandra West, this three-day extravaganza showcased the very essence of artistic expression and camaraderie.
With 15 colleges participating and 22 thrilling events, this year’s edition, themed “The Sand of Chaioasis,” blended cultural richness with modern creativity, offering students an opportunity to shine on a grand stage.
Each year, Cutting Chai raises the bar, and the 2025 edition was no exception. Newly introduced events like Human Chess and Live Board Games added an element of strategy and interaction, making the festival even more immersive.

At the heart of the festival were signature competitions in Dance, Drama, Creative Writing, Digital Art, and Film-making, where students brought their visions to life with passion and innovation. The campus was transformed into a vibrant hub of storytelling, art, and cultural exchange, creating an electrifying atmosphere.
Beyond the competitive spirit, the festival featured interactive stalls, artistic installations, and spontaneous performances, making every moment of Cutting Chai 18 one to remember
A festival of this scale wouldn’t have been possible without the tireless dedication of the BAMMC department students. From conceptualizing the theme to ensuring flawless execution, their efforts brought Cutting Chai 18 to life.
With guidance from experienced mentors, they orchestrated an event that was seamless, engaging, and reflective of the boundless creativity within the student community. Their hard work was evident in every detail, from event management to fostering a spirit of inclusivity and collaboration
