17 Din Mein ₹2.75 Crore Ka Liquor, Drugs Aur Cash Seizure

Thane Municipal Corporation ke General Elections 2025–26 ko dhyaan mein rakhte hue State Election Commission ne 15 December 2025 se Model Code of Conduct lagu kar diya hai. Iske baad se Thane Police, State Excise Department aur civic agencies ne milkar zabardast enforcement drive chalayi hai.
15 December 2025 se 1 January 2026 ke beech sirf 17 dinon mein authorities ne illegal liquor, drugs, weapons, cash aur prachar samagri ke khilaf action lete hue ₹2 crore 75 lakh 09 hazaar 965 ke maal ko seize kiya hai. Yeh jaankari Code of Conduct Enforcement Cell ke Nodal Officer Bhalchandra Behere ne di.
Police, State Excise, Static Surveillance Teams, Flying Squads aur Accounting Teams ke zariye shehar bhar mein rozana checking drives chalayi ja rahi hain.
Major check points mein shamil hain:
Modela Check Naka, Srinagar, Kisan Nagar, Kharigaon, Nashik Road, Mumbra, Khidkali, Diaghar, Shil Road, Vitawa aur Manish Nagar. In inspections ke dauran ₹9.54 lakh cash bhi jabt kiya gaya hai.
