Maharashtra me Maratha Reservation ke liye hue protest ke baad rajya sarkar ne 1 din ka special Assembly session lekar Maratha community ko under Socially & Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) 10 percent reservation diya tha
Maharashtra State Reservation Act 2024 jisme yeh 10 percent reservation diya gaya hai ke khilaf Bombay High Court me Bhausaheb Pawar namak social worker ne PIL file kiya hai
PIL ke mutabiq yeh 10 percent reservation wala Act na sirf Articles 14 (right to equality), 15 (prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, caste etc), 16 (equality of opportunity in public employment) and 21 (right to life) of the Constitution of India ka violation karta hai
Loksabha Election ko dhyan me rakhte hue yeh Maratha Reservation dene ka aarop PIL me lagaya gaya hai
