Delhi High Court ne popular entertainment platform Instant Bollywood ke founder Mandeep Singh par ₹20 lakh ka cost impose kiya hai. Court ne kaha ki Singh ne trademark dispute ke dauran material facts suppress kiye, jo court ke records ke mutabik disclose hone chahiye the.

Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora ne order dete hue kaha, “Har petition par ₹5 lakh ka cost lagaya jaata hai, jo petitioner ko Delhi High Court Legal Services Committee (DHCLSC) ko do hafton ke andar pay karna hoga.” Singh ne 4 petitions file ki thi, jiske chalte total fine ₹20 lakh ho gaya.

Yeh case “Instant Bollywood” device mark se juda hai, jo Classes 16, 35, 38 aur 41 me registered hai. Mandeep Singh ka claim hai ki unhone 2012 se brand ke under services dena shuru kiya aur 2016 se device mark ka use kar rahe hain.

2019 me Singh ne One Digital Entertainment Pte Ltd (ODE) ke saath ek agreement sign kiya tha, jisme brand ke IP rights 50:50 joint ownership me hone ka zikr tha. Yeh agreement August 2025 me terminate ho gaya.

Singh ka aarop hai ki ODE ke Managing Director Shabir Momin ne bina unki jaankari ke Instant Bollywood trademark apne naam par register karwa liya.

Court ne Singh ke rights protect karte hue 24 October 2025 wali assignment par status quo maintain karne ka order diya aur third-party rights create karne par rok laga di.Lekin Court ne yeh bhi maana ki Singh ne 2022 se hi trademark registrations ki jaankari hone ke bawajood documents disclose nahi kiye, jo clear suppression of facts hai.
