Mumbai Government Railway Police (GRP) ne ek massive crackdown me 1,018 chori ke mobile phones recover karke unke asli owners ko wapas de diye.
Yeh recent Year me hua sabse bada recovery drive mana ja raha hai. Kai phones theft gangs ke through multiple states tak pahunch gaye the.
Pehle phase me 684 mobile phones (₹1.11 crore ke) recover karke victims ko 25 July 2025 ko wapas diye gaye. Is success ke baad operation aur bada kiya gaya.
September se November 2025 ke beech GRP ne 2023, 2024 aur 2025 ke old pending cases bhi include kiye. 57 teams ne 17 States aur UTs (including Daman & Diu) me jaake field investigation ki aur phones trace kiye.
