Shiv Sena Leader and MP Arvind Sawant ne Lok Sabha me Mumbai ke 5 Railway Stations ka nam change karne ki demand ki.
1 Mumbai Central station be renamed as Jagannath Shankar Seth
2 Charni Road station be renamed as Girgaum,
3 Elphinstone Road as Prabhadevi
4 Curry Road as Lalbaug
5 Sandhurst Road as Dongri
Ye sare railway stations colonial nam se jane jate hai address and pincode bhi Prabhadevi, Lalbaug, Dongri and Girgaum ke nam se jane jate hai ye reason diya gaya nam change karne ke liye.
Last year Jogeshwari and Goregaon ke bich ek new railway station ko ‘Ram Mandir’ naam diya gaya. is se pahele Victoria Terminus ko Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus naam diya gaya.
