Maharashtra FDA Ne Diwali Se Pehle Bada Action – 8 Lakh Kg Se Zayada Food Seize

Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ne festive season mein khane ki suraksha ke liye statewide campaign “Sann Maharashtra Cha, Sankalp Annasuraksha” chalayi, jisme 8,03,942 kg se zyada unsafe aur substandard khana seize kiya gaya

Yeh operation 11 August se 12 October tak chala aur 25 October (Diwali) tak jaari rahega.

Campaign mein 4,676 samples (doodh, tel, ghee, khoya-mawa, meetha, dry fruits, chocolates, bhagar) test kiye gaye, jisme 918 standard, 51 substandard, 16 unsafe, aur 8 misbranded mile

FDA Secretary Dheeraj Kumar ne kaha, “Food businesses ko legal standards ka palan karna chahiye aur public health ko priority deni chahiye.” Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar ne bataya, “Festive demand se adulteration ka khatra badhta hai. FDA teams continuous inspections kar rahi hain taaki nagrik surakshit tyohaar mana sakein
