18 workers rescued following Chamoli accident; CM Pushkar Singh Dhami issues major directive

A major accident has occurred in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. A tunnel under construction for the THDC hydroelectric project in Pipalkoti suddenly collapsed. Several workers were inside the tunnel at the time of the incident, causing panic in the area. By 10:30 PM, approximately 18 injured workers had been safely rescued from the tunnel, while rescue operations for others are still underway.
