On the night of Dhanteras in Sector-21C, Faridabad, a trivial parking dispute took a horrific turn. It is alleged that a neighbor, Mohan—also known as Monu Sharma—fired 15 to 16 rounds at Paramjit Dhankad using his licensed pistol. Paramjit was struck by 8 to 9 bullets and succumbed to his injuries. Shockingly, Paramjit had returned home from Singapore just two days earlier to attend his nephew’s wedding. The wedding was scheduled for November 24, but before it could take place, the family’s joy turned into deep mourning.
