Aban Ahmed Laid to Rest in Prayagraj; Massive Crowd at Funeral Leads to Commotion

A massive crowd gathered at the Kasari-Masari graveyard in Prayagraj for the funeral of Aban Ahmed, the youngest son of Atiq Ahmed. Atiq Ahmed’s sons, Umar and Ali, were brought to the graveyard under tight security, but the crowd became unruly upon their arrival. People broke through the barricades, forcing the police to use mild force to disperse the gathering. Umar and Ali were overcome with emotion and wept bitterly during the funeral. Following the funeral prayers, Aban was laid to rest near the grave of his father, Atiq Ahmed. Aban had died two days earlier in a road accident in Jhansi.
