Accident at Satna Railway Goods Shed; Road Blockade Follows Death of a Laborer

Satna, Madhya Pradesh: A commotion erupted following an accident at the Satna railway goods shed, which resulted in the death of a laborer (palledar). The deceased has been identified as Rajkumar, alias Mangaldin Chaudhary. Following the incident, the grieving and agitated family members placed the body at the turn near the goods shed on Station Road, effectively blocking the road. They are demanding action against the contractor. Upon receiving information about the blockade, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), City Superintendent of Police (CSP), Government Railway Police (GRP), and local police (Kotwali) arrived at the scene and began efforts to persuade the family members to clear the road. At present, the situation remains tense as discussions to resolve the matter continue.
