Administration’s Bulldozers Target Encroachments in Neem Ka Thana, Rajasthan; 186 Houses and Shops Demolished
The administration’s bulldozers were deployed once again today to clear encroachments in Rajasthan’s Sikar district. A large-scale operation was launched in Neem Ka Thana to remove 186 shops and houses. Notably, following an appeal by the administration, many individuals voluntarily demolished their encroachments and cooperated with the authorities during the process. A team equipped with bulldozers arrived at the site amidst the presence of a heavy police force and administrative officials. The administration had previously issued notices giving residents an opportunity to remove the encroachments themselves; consequently, many began dismantling their structures before the bulldozers even arrived. A large number of police personnel were deployed to maintain law and order during the operation.
