While the incident of theft of offerings at the Ram Mandir has caused a nationwide uproar, another sensational case of donation theft has now emerged from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Allegations of theft of offerings, embezzlement, and large-scale corruption have been leveled against the Salar Masud Ghazi Dargah. A few days ago, UP government minister Dinesh Pratap Singh wrote to the Bahraich District Magistrate (DM), directing an investigation into the entire matter and ordering an audit of the offerings received.
