BMC ne Bandra Bandstand promenade se illegal hoardings remove kiye, jo citizens ko stray animals aur birds ko feed karne par fines dene ki warning de rahe the.

Yeh action ek animal welfare activist ki complaint ke baad hua, jisme unauthorised use of BMC aur Swachh Bharat Mission logos aur misleading information highlight ki gayi thi.

Controversial posters me ‘Cleanliness & Sanitation Bye Laws for BMC 2025’ ka reference diya gaya tha, jisme Rs 500 fine for feeding animals aur Rs 1,000 fine for pet animals’ defecation threaten kiya gaya tha. Posters H/West Ward ke solid waste management department ke naam se signed bhi dikhaye gaye.

Complaint ke baad, BMC ke H/West ward ne turant action lete hue around 5 unauthorised banners remove kiye. Ek banner Bandra police ke Bandstand beat chowky par bhi laga hua tha.
