BEST Workers ki strike aaj 2nd bhi jaari hai kal raat BMC Commissioner Ajoy Mehta ke sath standing committee chairman Yashwant Jadhav, BEST committee chairman Ashish Chemburkar, Suhas Samant, Vishaka Raut, & Shivsena workers union ki meeting bhi rahi asafal
The BMC commissioner said matters related to the wage agreement and bonus need to be discussed at the BEST administration level
BEST ki sabhi unions ne milkar ek joint action committee banayi hai BEST Sanyukta Kamgar Kruti Samiti (BSKKS) jisne BEST strike declare kiya hai
Kiya hai BEST workers ki demand
The BSKKS is demanding a merger of the BEST budget with the BMC’s primary budget and initiation of talks on a new wage agreement, which has been pending since April 2016.
They are also demanding the wage scale of employees recruited since 2007 brought at par with older BEST employees
Kal raat Shivsena ki BEST kamgar sena ne strike main participate karne mana kardiya tha aur aaj kam se kam 500 busses chalane ka daava kiya tha lekin BEST kamgar sena ke workers 10 -20 log hi aaj duty par gaye issliye aaj bhi road par busses nahi hain
