Lamba intezaar khatam hua. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) Elections 2026 ki dates ka official announcement ho gaya hai. State Election Commissioner Dinesh Waghmare ne bataya ki Mumbai mein BMC elections 15 January 2026 ko honge, jabki votes ki counting 16 January 2026 ko ki jayegi.
BMC pichhle lagbhag 4 saal se state-appointed administrator ke under chal rahi hai, jo iske 150 saal ke history ka sabse lamba period mana ja raha hai. BMC ka elected body ka term 7 March 2022 ko khatam ho gaya tha, lekin elections ab tak pending the.
