BMC ne aaj se Haji Ali ke pass Waste to Energy project shuru kiya iss project ke tehat sukhe kachra se Energy generate kiya jayega jiss se street light aur public garden ke lamp post jalenge 

Iss maouqe par Maharashtra Environment Minister Aditya Thackeray Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar maoujood they 

Aditya Thackeray ne bataya Inaugurated ‘waste to energy’ project at Haji Ali junction, which will generate electricity by processing 2MT of wet waste/day. With a capacity to generate 110 cubic meters of gas & 250 units of electricity from 1MT of waste, this redefines sustainable green solutions in the city
