HC ne pothole ya manhole accidents mein maut hone pe ₹6 lakh compensation order kiya hai, aur contractors aur civic bodies ko iski zimmedari di hai.
Yeh ruling Article 21 (right to life) ke tahat aayi hai, jahan safe roads ko fundamental right kaha gaya
2023 ke Lancet study se support milta hai, jahan India mein 1.3 lakh annual road deaths batayi gayi.
