British MPs express concern over violence in PoK, demand immediate de-escalation of tension

The unfolding situation in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) has shaken the entire world! Peaceful protesters are being fired upon directly, the internet has been shut down, and the entire region has been turned into an open-air prison! The atrocities being committed against the people of PoK are now garnering global attention; voices are being raised in Britain against Pakistan’s oppression. Several British MPs have expressed serious concern regarding the escalating unrest in PoK. Amidst reports of harsh crackdowns by security forces, restrictions on movement, and disrupted communication networks, there are also reports of civilian casualties and injuries. Bradford MP Imran Hussain, who also chairs the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), stated that he—along with more than 50 other MPs—has written to the UK Foreign Secretary regarding the situation in PoK.
