BSP Supremo Mayawati takes a dig over ‘Vande Mataram’; targets BJP, Congress, and SP

Amid the ongoing political controversy in the country regarding ‘Vande Mataram’, BSP supremo Mayawati has also weighed in. Through her statement, she has questioned the politics being played by the BJP, Congress, and the Samajwadi Party. Mayawati stated that it is inappropriate to politicize the issue of whether ‘Vande Mataram’ should be sung in its entirety or if only two verses should be recited. She accused political parties of stoking such controversies for their own gain and to divert public attention from major issues. Mayawati urged governments and political parties to focus instead on issues such as unemployment, the youth, students, Gen-Z, Gen-Alpha, and the devastation caused by floods.
