The BJP has sounded the bugle for its election campaign in Meerut, where bulldozers were seen welcoming BJP leader Nitin Navin. Meanwhile, a BJP trio launched a scathing attack on their opponents in the city. Chief Minister Yogi remarked that in the past, neither daughters nor traders were safe, and anarchy prevailed everywhere. There were months of curfews, businesses were ruined, and the youth were robbed of job opportunities—jobs were simply unavailable. However, the scenario has now changed. Nitin Navin also took a sharp dig at Akhilesh Yadav, stating that those who used to steal water taps now claim they will build the future if they form the government.
