Champat Rai writes to Ram devotees; says the truth will emerge after the SIT probe.
Champat Rai, the General Secretary of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, has broken his silence for the first time regarding the alleged theft of offerings at the Ayodhya Ram Mandir. In a letter addressed to Ram devotees, he dismissed the allegations against him as baseless; he stated that while he is currently maintaining silence, he will answer every question once the SIT’s final report is released. Just hours after Rai’s letter, Govind Devgiri, the Treasurer of the Ram Mandir Trust, met him for nearly two hours. Meanwhile, the community of seers has also come out in support of Champat Rai, even as the SIT investigation continues.
