Reports indicate that around 208 families were illegally occupying flats allotted under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana without paying the required amount; notices to vacate the premises had been issued to them previously. However, on Friday, the residents flew into a rage upon seeing the notice being posted and launched an attack.
