Addressing a press conference in Lucknow, Chief Minister Yogi launched a scathing attack on the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP). He termed the questioning of the Chief Election Commissioner an irresponsible act and asserted that the Congress and other opposition parties should apologize to the public for casting aspersions on democracy. Yogi remarked that while opposition parties attribute election victories to their own efforts, they blame the Election Commission and EVMs whenever the public rejects them due to corruption, rigging, poor policies, and anarchy. Political temperatures have risen further following Chief Minister Yogi’s remarks.
